Lockheed Martin’s LO Labs & Ranges in Marietta, GA seeks an RF engineering support candidate to assist antenna calibration and full-scale RCS test activities. Responsibilities include test setup, data collection/processing and troubleshooting to maintain system performance.
Requirements include a U.S. citizen with a DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, and hands-on lab experience.
Long Description As a member of the Low Observable (LO) Labs & Ranges within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics located in Marietta, GA, the selected candidate will provide engineering support to our Antenna Calibration Lab and full-scale Radar Cross Section (RCS) test facility. The candidate’s primary tasks will be to participate in testing utilizing the antenna calibration system as well as day to day operations of the antenna and RCS measurement ranges. This includes test setup, system performance checks, RCS/antenna data collection and data processing. The selected candidate will also assist the LO Test Team in the troubleshooting of system failures and other periodic system upgrades.
Architects and designs Radio Frequency systems and circuitry. Designs and develops RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. In addition, develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.
Full‑Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00
