Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA seeks an experienced RF Systems Architect to direct the design of RF circuitry and subsystem architectures for high-frequency/microwave applications. You will lead a team of engineers, coordinate hardware layout, prototyping, testing, and ensure performance through TPMs and CAIV analyses.

Responsibilities include collaboration with Product Development and manufacturing during delivery, and guiding life cycle cost and reliability assessments to support mission

Qualifications

  • Degree in electrical engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers.
  • Experience in project management and mission systems development.
  • Familiarity with CAM/EV techniques and supplier management.

Responsibilities

Standard Job Description

Directs the architecting and designing of Radio Frequency systems and circuitry. Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Manages the design and development of RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Leads the staff responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Oversees the preparation of the following: test methods and specifications; analysis and testing of RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. Manages the development of RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Coordinates link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Manages the development and allocation of RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. Oversees the identification and tracking of RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Monitors RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.

Basic Qualifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $120600.00 - $224000.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
