Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation treatments, position patients, verify treatment plans, and document all treatment data in the EMR.

The RTT will ensure safe, high-quality care and effective patient communication within a busy radiation oncology department. The role requires ARRT certification, CPR/BLS, and a minimum of one year of experience or eligibility for registry; Spanish language skills are desirable.

Qualifications

  • Must have graduated from an accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
  • BS degree in Radiation Therapy or related field preferred.
  • English fluency with strong written/spoken communication; Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide radiation therapy services as part of the radiation oncology team.
  • Document treatment setups, doses and calculations accurately.
  • Explain procedures to patients and reassure families during treatment.
  • Respond to emergencies with appropriate first aid, CPR and care until a physician arrives.
  • Maintain ethical standards and comply with policies, procedures and laws.
