Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our radiation oncology team in Waycross. The RT clinician delivers prescribed radiation treatments, ensures patient safety, and maintains precise documentation throughout all treatment sessions.

The role requires graduation from an accredited RTT program, ARRT certification, and current CPR/BLS. The RTT will work Monday–Friday, with on-site responsibilities and occasional patient simulations as requested.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; written and verbal communication essential.
• Spanish language ability is a plus for patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy services as part of the radiation oncology team.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and team members.
• Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support as needed.
• Document treatment setups, doses and calculations clearly and accurately.
• Monitor patients and report deviations to the Radiation Therapy Lead.
• Assist with patient simulations and input treatment data into EMR.
