Job summary

Henry Ford Health seeks a Therapist-Radiation to administer radiation therapy, position patients, and support treatment delivery in a collaborative team. You will work with physicians and dosimetrists, maintain treatment records, and help ensure regulatory compliance in a busy Radiation Therapy department.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program and applicable credentials (CCI/ARRT/ARDMS) or a BLS that meets hire requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience or an associate/technical degree or 4 years of job-specific experience.
• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.
• One of the listed credentials obtained by hire date (CCI, ARRT RT, ARDMS) or BLS by hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic parameters accurately.
• Deliver treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists.
• Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions.
• Maintain and adjust equipment, including linear accelerators.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe department.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Associate's degree or technical degree

4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience

Graduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy

Cardiographic Tech credentialed (CCI)

ARRT Radiation Therapy credential

ARDMS credentialed in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

BLS Provider (AHA) credentialed
