The Radiation Therapist role is with a Forbes top 100 hospital located in Buckeye Lake, Ohio. The position focuses on delivering photon and electron radiation, assisting in brachytherapy, and performing simulations and QA tasks under the radiation oncologist’s direction.

Requirements include completion of an AMA-accredited Radiation Therapy Program, ARRT RTT registration, and Ohio LRTT licensure, plus at least 2 years of experience; TrueBeam, Trilogy, and Aria experience are highly preferred.

Competenze

• Completion of AMA accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• Registered by ARRT in Radiation Therapy (RTT).
• Licensed in Ohio in Radiation Therapy (LRTT).
• At least 2 years of Radiation Therapy experience. Experience with TrueBeam, Trilogy and Aria preferred.

Mansioni

• Administer photon and electron radiation and assist in brachytherapy under the radiation oncologist.
• Perform simulations, construct shielding blocks, document duties, and participate in QA activities.
• Administer radiation therapy treatments per prescription and oncologist instructions.
• Perform simulations in preparation of treatments and verify orders and documentation.
• Assess patient needs and educate patients and families.
• Operate imaging, therapeutic, and related equipment safely and competently.
• Prioritize tasks to complete assignments timely.
