Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers prescribed radiation therapy per the radiation oncologist's directive and keeps accurate treatment records.
• Performs radiation simulations and monitors patients for reactions or events.
• Performs physics/dosimetry procedures with supervision as needed.
• Follows all radiation safety, emergency, and hazardous materials procedures.
• Reports equipment deficiencies to the Manager or Bio-Medical Engineering.
• Supervises, instructs and educates students as needed.
• Attends departmental meetings and conferences.
• Assists in nursing-related functions as necessary.
• Coordinates workflow to support quality patient care and treatments.
