Job summary

Advanced-Urology-Institute-LL is seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide direct patient care in the Radiation Oncology Center. You will administer prescribed Radiation Therapy, prepare rooms and equipment, and monitor patients during treatment to ensure safety and accuracy.

The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and at least six months of related experience or training. Knowledge of EMR systems and strong communication skills are essential to coordinate care with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent
• ARRT-certified Radiation Therapist
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Administers daily prescribed Radiation Therapy treatments.
• Prepares room and equipment for patient and setup devices.
• Delivers the prescribed dose with correct unit parameters.
• Monitors patient during treatment and reports any abnormalities.
• Maintains records of treatments, charges, and HIPAA compliance.
• Ensures safety and proper use of equipment and immobilization devices.
