Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist Level 1 to deliver ionizing radiation per Radiation Oncologist prescription and Simulation Instructions. You will work closely with the care team to ensure accurate treatment delivery and patient comfort throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an approved Radiation Therapy Program.
• Licensure as Radiation Therapist (ARRT T) required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed ionizing radiation with accuracy and safety.
• Operate ARIA/EPIC systems and verify patient status and orders.
• Prepare treatment room, immobilization devices, and patient education.
• Perform QA, chart checks, and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetry staff for plan accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize CT Sim and treatment areas.
