Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation therapy to patients following the Radiation Oncologist’s instructions. The role requires ARIA EMR and Epic familiarity, with emphasis on accurate charting and safety.

You will prepare treatment rooms, perform QA checks, and collaborate with dosimetrists and physicists. A Radiation Therapy program graduate with ARRT (T) and licensure is preferred. This full-time position supports our NJ patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate from an approved Radiation Therapy Program.
• ARRT (T) certification and Radiation Therapy License required.
• 1+ year experience with Varian equipment/TrueBeam/ARIA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed ionizing radiation per Radiation Oncologist’s prescription.
• Perform treatment planning prep and verification per protocol.
• Operate QA and morning warm-up on Linac and CT Sim; perform CBCT and imaging QA.
• Maintain accurate charting in ARIA and Epic; ensure documentation is complete.
• Educate patients about the care pathway and procedures.
• Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards.
