Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technologist to administer treatments per physician plans in a fast-paced oncology setting. You will reproduce setup, monitor patient comfort, and document all treatment details in the electronic chart with precision.

The role involves daily QA checks, dose verification, and collaboration with physicians to localize tumor volumes using imaging techniques. Ideal candidates will hold ARRT registry eligibility or license, IDNS license, and BLS

Qualifications

• ARRT registry-eligible or ARRT license.
• IDNS license required.
• BLS Certified.
• Radiation Oncology knowledge and EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Administers Radiation Therapy treatments per physician prescription and plan.
• Maintain contact with patients and monitor for side effects.
• Record treatment data in electronic chart systems (IMPACT/EMR).
• Ensure accurate daily dose calculations and machine QA checks.
• Assist in tumor localization using radiographic techniques.
• Support education of patients and students in Radiation Therapy.
