Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a Radiation Therapist to evaluate imaging, verify positioning, and implement treatment plans with accuracy in the patient record. The role includes QA on equipment, after-hours on-call coverage, and training/mentorship for students as part of a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited Radiation Therapy program completion, an ARRT RT credential, and strong knowledge of EHR and record-and-verify systems, ensuring ALARA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in EHR and record-and-verify workflows.
• Experience with radiation therapy equipment and planning software.
• Association degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate imaging and adjust treatment plans within 24 hours.
• Verify patient positioning and treatment parameters daily.
• Perform QA on treatment unit and report malfunctions.
• Assist with student education and after-hours on-call coverage.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR and planning systems.
