Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• ARRT Board certified or eligible.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• ARRT certification required/preferred.
• 0–5 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the physician.
• Verify prescribed treatment dose before each treatment; verify fields and angles.
• Place protective devices to shield healthy tissue.
• Simulate patients to localize treatment areas with CT or other devices.
• Maintain accurate treatment charts and documentation.
• Monitor patient progress and report any complications.
• Adhere to radiation safety procedures and device limits.
• Collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist and therapy team on treatment plans.
• Be punctual and able to be on call.
