Job summary

The Mojave Radiation Oncology Center in Apple Valley, CA is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join Cardinal Health’s team. You will administer prescribed radiation therapy and help ensure precise, safe treatment delivery for patients in your community.

This full-time role offers an hourly pay range of $43.30–$61.80, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits. ARRT certification and a related degree are preferred for applicants seeking growth within Cardinal Health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• ARRT Board certified preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy technology.
• Certification in Radiation Therapy Technology by ARRT.
• 0-5 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the physician.
• Verify prescribed treatment dose before each treatment; verify fields and angles.
• Ensure shielding and protective devices to protect healthy tissue.
• Simulate patients using CT scanner or other devices to localize treatment areas.
• Maintain accurate treatment charts and documentation.
• Monitor patient progress and report any complications to the team.
• Perform machine safety checks and report abnormalities to Center Leader.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologist and therapy team on treatment plan.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field

Graduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy technology

Certification in Radiation Therapy Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist

ARRT Board certification

0-5 years of experience
