Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• State license for radiation therapy required.
• Halcyon and IX Linac experience preferred but not required.
• RTT I: 0–3 years experience; RTT II: 3–5 years; Senior RTT: 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under supervision of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the EMR.
• Assist in clinical instruction of new hires and students.
• Maintain accurate appointment scheduling and billing information.
• Cut blocks as applicable.
• Create custom patient molds.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

RTT I- $49.69-$67.11

RTT II- $54.28-$73.28

RTT SR- $62.93-$85.00

Applicants will be hired into the appropriate title based on their credentials and years of experience applicable

Under direct supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• -Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• -Accurately enters and maintains patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record.
• -Participates in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
• -Assists in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.
• -Accurately cuts blocks, when applicable.
• -Accurately makes custom molds.
• -Accurately interprets a computerized treatment plan.
• -Maintains clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
• Halcyon and IX Linac experience preffered (but not required)
• Radition Therapist I: requires 0-3 years of experience
• Radiation Therapist II : requires 3-5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• Senior Radiation Therapist : requires 5+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
