Silicon Valley Oncology in Campbell, CA is hiring a Radiation Therapist to join our compassionate team. We offer a 8am-4pm schedule, a $15,000 sign-on bonus with relocation assistance, and a welcoming environment for new graduates.

Under direct supervision you will deliver precise radiation treatments, ensure accurate treatment parameters in the EMR, collaborate with oncologists, and contribute to a clean, safe work environment while helping patients access high-quality cancer care in Northern

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
• Radiation Therapist I: 0–3 years experience as RTT.
• Radiation Therapist II: 3+ years experience as RTT.
• Senior Radiation Therapist: 7+ years experience as RTT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under supervision.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the EMR.
• Participate in clinical instruction of new therapists and students.
• Maintain patient appointment schedules and submit correct billing information.
• Cut blocks when applicable and make custom molds.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans and ensure accuracy.
• Keep the work environment clean, safe and organized.

Salary :

$67- $89 per hour

Applicants will be hired into the appropriate title based on their credentials and years of experience applicable

SCOPE: Under direct supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Accurately enters and maintains patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record.
• Participates in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
• Assists in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.
• Accurately cuts blocks, when applicable.
• Accurately makes custom molds.
• Accurately completes simple mu calculations.
• Accurately interprets a computerized treatment plan.
• Maintains clean, safe, and organized work environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
• Radiation Therapist I : requires 0-3 years experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• Radiation Therapist II : requires minimum 3 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• Senior Radiation Therapist : requires 7+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
