Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist at Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. This 40-hour-per-week role supports our acute care team with patient-centered radiation therapy and collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist to deliver safe, effective treatment.

The ideal candidate has ARRT in Radiation Oncology, 1–2 years of experience, and is registry eligible with 6 months to certification; strong safety and compassionate care are essential. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 1–2 years of applicable experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT in Radiation Oncology (registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification) required.
• Additional Skills: Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Apply ionizing radiation to patients per prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
• Work closely with Radiation Oncologist to deliver critical patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort with professionalism and empathy.
