Job summary

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Radiation Therapist I to join our acute care team. Eligible candidates with ARRT in Radiation Oncology (registry eligible within 6 months) and BLS are welcome; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

You will work with advanced imaging tech and HDR QA, collaborate with a supportive team, and have opportunities for professional growth and ongoing development. A compassionate patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT in Radiation Oncology (registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification), required. BLS, required.
• One to two years of applicable experience, preferred as a radiation therapist, including expertise in CT procedures, HDR QA, or other relevant specialized treatment protocols.
• Strong clinical skills & compassionate patient care
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One to two years of applicable experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT in Radiation Oncology (registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification), required. BLS, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
