Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our REMARKABLE acute care team at Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. This PRN role involves applying ionizing radiation under the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription and collaborating with a devoted clinical team.

Eligible candidates should have ARRT (T) certification or registry eligibility, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification. One to two years of experience is preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential

Qualifications

• Certification as a Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T)
• Strong clinical skills and compassionate patient care
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required
• ARRT registry eligible with 6 months to obtain certification
• BLS, required
• Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing

Responsibilities

• Applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
