Valor Oncology is seeking a Staff Radiation Therapist to join a compassionate oncology team in California. In-person, full-time, day shift in the Redding/Chico/Palm Desert area with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• ARRT certification and CA licensure are required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to prescriptions and plans.
• Operate linear accelerators and maintain treatment equipment.
• Ensure accurate patient setup and positioning.
• Monitor patients during treatment and address side effects.
• Document treatments accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and clinical team.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Radiation Therapist to join our team. This role involves direct patient care, accurate treatment delivery, and coordination with clinical staff to ensure optimal outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions and treatment plans
• Operate linear accelerators and maintain treatment equipment
• Ensure accurate setup and positioning of patients
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond to side effects or complications
• Document treatments accurately in the EMR
• Maintain safety and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and the clinical team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• ARRT certification (Radiation Therapy – T)
• State licensure in CA
• Current BLS certification
• New graduates welcome to apply; experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient service skills
