Job summary

Valor Oncology is seeking a Staff Radiation Therapist to join a compassionate oncology team in California. The role involves direct patient care, precise treatment delivery, and coordination with clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes. In-person, full-time, day shift in the Redding/Chico/Palm Desert area with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• ARRT certification and CA licensure are required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to prescriptions and plans.
• Operate linear accelerators and maintain treatment equipment.
• Ensure accurate patient setup and positioning.
• Monitor patients during treatment and address side effects.
• Document treatments accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and clinical team.
