Position Overview

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology department in Palo Alto, CA. This full-time, day-shift position involves working with state-of-the-art technology and providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver prescribed radiation treatments and perform patient simulations.
2. Explain procedures and provide patient education on treatment and side effects.
3. Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
4. Ensure safety and quality control in treatment delivery.
5. Collaborate with medical staff and participate in clinical trials and research.

Qualifications

• ARRT-RT certification and CRT-T registration.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Knowledge of modern radiation therapy equipment and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
