• Graduation from an accredited program and ARRT certification required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in radiation therapy.

Join Our Team as a Radiation Therapist II at Sutter Health

We are excited about your interest in joining Sutter Health! This role involves performing routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician-developed treatment plans. The position requires independent work, sound judgment, and clinical skills to ensure safe, precise, and timely procedures. Building rapport with patients, their families, and healthcare teams through effective communication and attentive care is essential. The role also involves adhering to all relevant regulations and may include training other staff members.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
• ARRT Certification - Radiography
• RHTT or RHA Certification from the Radiologic Health Branch
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 2 years of relevant recent experience

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of radiation therapy principles, procedures, and equipment
• Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Excellent communication skills for explaining sensitive information
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare information systems (EHR, RIS, PACS, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to patient privacy and safety

Position Details

• Shift: Days, Monday to Friday
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Non-exempt status
• Hourly pay range: $71.18 - $92.50
