Mercyhealth in Illinois is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to perform external beam treatments, simulate, set up patients, and contribute to accurate treatment plans.
The role requires ARRT registration, completion of accredited program, CPR/BLS within 90 days, and a focus on safety, patient care, and teamwork with radiation oncologists and physics staff.
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program Experience as a radiation therapist preferred
ARRT registration in radiation therapy required (or eligible upon hire and attain within one year) Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
Performs routine duties independent of supervision, but consults with the Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicist, Medical Dosimetrist and Radiation Oncology Supervisor/Manager/Director as required.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
