Mercyhealth in Janesville, WI is seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide professional duties related to radiation therapy treatments prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. The role supports scheduling, simulation, patient setup, and treatment with a focus on safety and accuracy.
The position requires ARRT registration (or eligibility on hire with attainment within 1 year) and CPR/BLS within 90 days, with a 32-hour work week on day shifts.
The Radiation Therapist provides professional duties involved with a variety of technical procedures prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist for the safe delivery of radiation therapy treatments and care to patients.

Pay Range: $38.80/hr - $60.14/hr
Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program
Experience as a radiation therapist preferred
ARRT registration in radiation therapy required (or eligible upon hire and attain within one year)
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good interpretive/analytical skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to perform multiple functions with minimal direction, independent of supervision
Complex problem solving
Performs routine duties independent of supervision, but consults with the Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicist, Medical Dosimetrist and Radiation Oncology Supervisor/Manager/Director as required.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
