Job summary

Silicon Valley Oncology in Campbell, CA is hiring Radiation Therapists across different experience levels. New graduates are welcome to apply for a role offering a stable 8am-4pm schedule in a supportive team environment.

Salary levels are provided for RTT I, RTT II, and Sr. RTT, with a sign-on bonus of $15,000 available. The team uses advanced radiation therapy tech and collaborates with experienced clinicians to deliver high-quality cancer care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
• Radiation Therapist I : requires 0-3 years experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• Radiation Therapist II : requires minimum 3 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• Senior Radiation Therapist : requires 7+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into the electronic medical record.
• Participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
• Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.
• Cut blocks when applicable.
• Make custom molds.
• Complete simple mu calculations.
• Interpret a computerized treatment plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Salary :

RTT I - $49.81-$67.24

RTT II- $48.85 -$79.94

Sr. RTT- $54.78-$89.64

SCOPE

Under direct supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
• Radiation Therapist I : requires 0-3 years experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• Radiation Therapist II : requires minimum 3 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
• Senior Radiation Therapist : requires 7+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
