Research Integrity & Compliance, within the USF Office of Research & Innovation, manages programs including Radiation Safety, Human Research Protection, Biosafety, and more. The division employs 35 staff and manages an annual budget of nearly $3 million, serving USF researchers, students, staff, and affiliated institutions.
The Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, manages the radiation safety program, and provides technical support and oversight for safe radioactive materials and radiation equipment use.
