Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks a Radiation Officer & Safety Manager to lead the Health & Safety and Radiation Safety Programs. You will prepare hazard analyses, conduct training, and perform site visits to ensure ECS safety standards across offices and sites.

Key responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, and regulatory hearings. You will report safety outcomes to management and drive continual improvement while aligning with ECS corporate safety programs.

Qualifications

• HS diploma and completion of Radiation Safety courses and 8-hour RSO training.
• 3-5 years as Safety Officer implementing and enforcing programs.
• 5-7 years in construction-related environments with ECS scope.
• Experience with regulatory enforcement and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Implement Health & Safety and Radiation Safety Programs.
• Prepare Activity Hazard Analyses and training classes.
• Conduct site visits to monitor ECS H&S program implementation.
• Participate in safety audits and Behavior Based Safety Observations.
• Review incident investigations and perform detailed analyses when needed.
• Attend regulatory hearings and advise on loss reduction.
• Develop proactive safety and radiation safety outreach with partners.
• Coordinate with management to align safety goals with corporate programs.
• Present monthly safety and radiation safety summaries to management.
• Ensure compliance with regulations on radioactive materials or devices.
