Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Physics/Radiation Sciences or related field.
• Practical experience in a comprehensive radiological control program.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Health Physics/Radiation Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Maintains daily operations of the Radiation Safety Office and manages records and radiation user fees.
• Trains and supervises up to 5 student workers annually.
• Coordinates radiation user applications, exams, and mandated monitoring programs.
• Manages radioactive shipments, waste handling, and mixed waste programs.
• Supervises surveys, maintains instrument calibration, and responds to incidents.
