Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) seeks an experienced Radiation Protection Team Leader to provide leadership and oversite for RP programs, ensuring safety for employees and the community. You will interact with facility operations leaders and engineers to address radiological issues and compliance.

Role includes 25% time supporting JLON in Nevada, with travel as needed from Los Alamos, NM. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in health physics or related fields are required; a top-level DOE Q

Formación

• Experience developing and implementing RP policies, procedures, and systems.
• Advising and leading facility operations teams and hazard assessments.
• Implementing safety and security protocols including Integrated Safety Management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and oversite for RP programs across multiple divisions.
• Interact with Facility Operations Directors and Division Leaders to support science and engineering programs.
• Support Joint Laboratory Office-Nevada (JLON) with 25% time from LANL location.
