Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks a Group Leader for Radiation Protection Services (RPP-SVS). You will provide technical leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of dosimetry, sample analysis, and instrumentation calibration for LANL facilities and workers.

You will develop and execute radiation protection programs, train staff, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while managing staff and resources to meet mission goals.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated technical leadership in Health Physics/Radiation Protection.
• Experience with external/internal dosimetry and radiation instrumentation.
• Experience collaborating with diverse customers and management at all levels.
• Strong management in personnel, financial, and operations areas (safety, security, environment, quality, facility).
• Strategic planning, technical advocacy, innovation, and execution of complex programs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the RPP-SVS Group.
• Develop and execute radiation protection programs, processes, and training.
• Recruit, develop, and retain qualified staff; promote safety and quality.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders and ensure program excellence.
• Oversee fiscal responsibility, operations, and performance improvement.
