Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Radiation Therapy Supervisor to coordinate and supervise all technical aspects of the radiation therapy department, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with standards.

The role requires a graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy program, ARRT licensure, 5 years experience as a Radiation Therapist, and supervisory experience; leadership, policy development, and staff mentoring are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school or certificate program in Radiation Therapy Technology by the Committee on Allied Health Education.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy preferred.
• Five (5) years experience as a Radiation Therapist required.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Current licensure as required by state or national authority and/or certification or board eligible in Radiation Therapy by the ARRT.
• Maintain ARRT certification in radiation therapy with a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, and coordinates delivery of patient care for radiation therapy department, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and policies.
• Plans, schedules, and organizes work for the group, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and efficient use of personnel and facilities.
• Acts as a professional role model and mentor to staff, supporting change and facilitating communication to advance the organization's mission.
