Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a compassionate Radiation Therapist to assist the Radiation Oncologist in delivering prescribed ionizing radiation using specialized equipment. You will prepare treatment rooms, position patients, monitor during therapy, and ensure patient comfort in accordance with policies.

The ideal candidate holds graduation from an approved Radiation Therapy program and is ARRT board eligible (or has 1 year of experience) with 90 days to obtain licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Radiation Therapy program.
• Board eligible by ARRT or 1 year of experience.
• Board eligible for ARRT registry; must have licensure within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room, explains procedures to patients, positions patients and administers treatments.
• Monitors patients during therapy and maintains confidentiality and professional demeanor.
