Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a capable Radiation Therapy supervisor to lead Radiation Therapists within the Radiation Oncology and Gamma Knife programs. You will supervise staff, ensure quality control, and assist in scheduling and performance evaluations while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires ARRT registration, accredited training in Radiation Therapy, and a minimum of five years’ experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Registered with ARRT and licensed to practice in RI or eligible.
• Supervisory ability to plan, direct and evaluate technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance for Radiation Therapists and Gamma Knife technicians.
• Monitor patient safety and treatment accuracy; interpret treatment plans.
• Assist in staff scheduling, performance evaluations and discipline when needed.
• Maintain radiation safety and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Attend conferences and maintain professional development.
