Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Radiation Therapy Supervisor to oversee daily operation and supervision of radiation oncology services, coordinating nursing, therapy, dosimetry, and simulation. The role requires ARRT certification and 5 years of clinical experience with 2 years in supervision, plus CPR.

The candidate will guide prioritization, clinical decision-making, and throughput goals, delivering care to adolescent through geriatric patients in a high-quality environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited educational program in Radiation Therapy.
• 5 years clinical experience in Radiation Oncology AND 2 years supervisory experience in said specialty.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy - R.T. (R) (ARRT).
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate diversified and multiple activities, and make appropriate clinical and managerial decisions. Must possess advanced problem solving skills.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of Radiation Oncology procedures.
• Ensures accuracy , attention to detail ,ability to set priorities and to communicate well with all entities in Radiation Oncology.
• Must posses advanced problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day operation and supervision of radiation oncology services.
• Coordinate nursing, radiation therapy, dosimetry, simulation, and other functions.
• Ensure compliance with departmental operational throughput goals.
• Provide care and/or service to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
