Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Hartford, CT, seeks an experienced Radiation Therapy Supervisor to coordinate and oversee all operational aspects of the radiation therapy department. Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school or certificate program in Radiation Therapy Technology; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five (5) years experience as a Radiation Therapist required; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, and coordinates delivery of patient care for radiation therapy department; ensures compliance with clinical standards and establishes policies and procedures.
• Plans, schedules, and organizes work for the group; ensures proper distribution and delegation of assignments and efficient utilization of personnel, space, and facilities.
• Serves as a professional role model and mentor to staff; supports change processes and communicates mission of the organization.
• Actively supports a professional practice model encouraging staff participation in developing clinical standards and data-driven practice.
