Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA, is seeking a Radiation Oncology Supervisor to lead the Cancer Center’s day-to-day operations and ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program, ARRT certification, and at least 2 years of practice with leadership experience preferred. Schedule is 40 hours per week, days, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy Technology; current Iowa permit to practice in Radiation Therapy.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a practicing Radiation Therapist; previous management experience preferred.
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations and uphold clinical practice standards of the MercyOne Cancer Center.
• Provide positive leadership and problem-solving skills and participate with the Director in continuous quality improvement, budgeting, customer and staff feedback, training and development.
• Work cooperatively with other departments of MercyOne, the community and professional organizations to ensure quality services.
• Adhere to MercyOne’s performance expectations and perform all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne

Education
