Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA seeks a Radiation Oncology Research Associate for the two-year Mentored Faculty Physician-Scientist Program in Radiation Oncology (MFPSP-RO). The role combines translational research with clinical duties to advance cancer radiotherapy through collaborative projects with FH RO and University of Washington faculty.

Candidates must be an MD or MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent) and be in or finishing Radiation Oncology residency; licensure in Washington is

Qualifications

• MD, MD/PhD or foreign equivalent.
• Completion or in the final year of residency in Radiation Oncology.
• Demonstrated track record of academic achievement and publications in cancer research.

Responsibilities

• Develop a research project under the guidance of a FH RO faculty mentor, focused on radiotherapy improvement.
• Participate in outpatient Radiation Oncology Clinic at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center's South Lake Union Medical Center; clinical duties may be performed for board-certified/board-eligible candidates.
