OhioHealth in Hilliard, OH seeks a Manager of Radiation Oncology Medical Physics to oversee all medical physics operations across the region. The role emphasizes quality assurance, accreditation maintenance, and strategic collaboration with oncology leadership and physicians to ensure safe, effective patient care.

The position requires a Master’s degree, ABR certification in Medical Physics, and leadership experience in a radiation oncology setting.

Qualifications

Master's Degree required.
ABR Certification in Medical Physics required.
Five years of related medical physics, radiation safety, QA, and leadership experience.
Board Certified Medical Physicist experience is implied by the role.

Responsabilités

Supervise treatment planning, dose calculations, QA testing and device fabrication for external beam therapy and brachytherapy.
Oversee QA activities region-wide to ensure timely completion and regulatory compliance for external beam, brachytherapy and stereotactic programs.
Assist with development and operationalization of the regional strategic plan for Radiation Oncology with leadership and physicians.
Maintain accreditations such as ACR, ACOS, NAPBC, JCAHO-DCS and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
Collaborate with Medical Director and Radiation Oncologists to foster positive relationships with oncology physicians.
