Job summary

Duke Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Radiation Oncology team at the Duke Cancer Center North Durham, providing direct patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in outpatient settings.

Flexible hours with potential four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, depending on patient needs. Requires NC NP/PA licensure, BLS, and experience in oncology or radiation medicine preferred.

Qualifications

• NP/PA must hold an accredited program completion and advanced practice certification.
• Education paths include NP with MSN or PA with BS + MSN; NC licensure required.
• BLS certification is required at Duke Health.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage radiation oncology patients in collaboration with physicians.
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnosis, treatment plan, and risks of radiation therapy.
• Document and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and ensure regulatory compliance.
