Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems in Huntsville, AL is seeking Radar Engineers to develop radar signal processors, tracking algorithms, and advanced sensors for complex systems. You will work with a team to optimize performance and latency, exploring new algorithms from literature for potential improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering (ABET) with 2–4 years of experience or a Master's with less than 2 years, and strong skills in DSP, MATLAB, radar simulation, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited school; 2–4 years of relevant experience or a Master's with less than 2 years.
Experience in radar algorithm development and/or radar analysis.
Experience or willingness to lead a team of engineers and oversee tasking.
Strong fundamentals in digital signal processing, tracker algorithms, MATLAB, radar simulation and modeling.

Responsibilities

Support advanced technology radar programs including development of radar signal processors and tracking algorithms.
Simulate radar systems and perform field-testing of RF sensors and systems.
Collaborate with engineers to optimize algorithms for performance and latency.
Investigate literature for enhancements and implement suitable methods.
