Leidos Defense Systems in Huntsville, AL seeks an Entry-Level Radar Engineer to join a diverse team solving complex sensor and radar challenges. You will develop radar signal processors, tracking algorithms, and advanced sensors in EW environments, with opportunities to deploy new algorithms from literature.

The role emphasizes collaboration with peers to improve performance, latency, and system reliability on defense programs. A DoD Secret clearance and ABET-accredited degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience in radar modeling, DSP, and field testing of sensor systems.
• Strong teamwork and fundamentals in MATLAB/Python and C++ on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Support advanced radar programs including signal processors and tracking algorithms.
• Simulate radar systems and field-test RF sensors and subsystems.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve performance and reduce latency.
