Job summary

FishEye Software seeks a Radar Systems Engineer to develop, integrate, and enhance advanced radar capabilities for mission-critical applications. This position is 100% on-site in Maynard, MA and requires an Active Secret Clearance and U.S. citizenship.

The role covers the full systems engineering lifecycle and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance radar solutions. The candidate will engage in requirements management, verification, validation, and field

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of experience supporting radar, sensor, aerospace, or other complex defense systems.
• Experience with radar fundamentals, RF systems, signal processing concepts, and/or sensor performance evaluation.
• Experience applying systems engineering principles including requirements management, verification, and validation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical data.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information.

Responsibilities

• Support the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements development through integration, verification, validation, and field deployment.
• Analyze system performance to evaluate detection, tracking, and target characterization capabilities while identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Participate in system integration, acceptance testing, and operational validation activities for new radar capabilities and system upgrades.
• Perform engineering assessments using operational data, test results, and performance metrics to identify trends and improve system effectiveness.
• Support mission modeling, simulation activities, and engineering trade studies to evaluate system performance across operational scenarios.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action efforts related to system anomalies and performance issues.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering presentations, customer briefings, and proposal documentation supporting stakeholders.
