Job summary

RTX is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to design and mature advanced radar and sensor systems for the warfighter. You will define architecture, develop requirements, and perform analyses across the full product lifecycle, working with experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires a Masters in STEM and radar fundamentals knowledge, with hands-on lab testing and MBSE experience. Onsite at El Segundo, relocation eligibility may apply, and a DoD Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience in Systems Engineering or knowledge of radar fundamentals.
• Experience with algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware integration, data analysis using Matlab, and configuration management.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and develop requirements.
• Perform analysis and modeling, and support integration, testing, and flight activities.
• Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using MATLAB, Python, and C++.
• Prepare and present technical reports and briefings.
• Support verification, validation, flight test, and production activities.
