Job summary

Raytheon is seeking Radar Systems Engineers to join the Advanced Products & Solutions Mission Area within the Systems Engineering Center. You will help design and develop advanced radar and early‑warning sensor systems for the warfighter, defining architecture and supporting the full product lifecycle.

You will work with experienced engineers on system requirements, modeling, verification, flight activities, and integration, applying MBSE and system-level thinking to deliver robust sensor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field prior to start.
• Academic or internship experience with hands-on testing of electronic equipment in labs and troubleshooting of electronic or system-level issues.
• Data analysis using MATLAB and/or C++; experience in algorithm design, requirements development, software/hardware integration, and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Support development, analysis, documentation, and verification of system requirements using DOORS.
• Generate system CONOPS and system architectures.
• Assist with radar mode requirement development and system performance assessments.
• Conduct modeling, simulation, and data analysis using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and C++.
• Participate in hardware/software integration, troubleshooting, and hands-on laboratory testing.
• Support verification, validation, flight test, production, and post-deployment activities.
• Perform trade studies, functional/physical analyses, and MBSE-based system design.
• Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
