Job summary

RTX's Marlborough, MA site is seeking a radar systems co-op/early-career engineer to help develop concepts of operations and radar processing algorithms. You will collaborate with systems and software engineers and present findings to leadership. A DoD secret clearance is preferred; U.S.

citizenship is required. Ideal candidates have a STEM degree and up to 1 year of related experience, with MATLAB/Python/C++ skills and familiarity with DOORS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships).
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts of operations for radar systems.
• Develop radar processing algorithm development.
• Develop radar software requirements.
• Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
• Create analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to implement solutions.
• Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers.
