Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (Air-to-Ground) to join our Mission Systems team on exciting radar programs. You will analyze requirements, develop and document system specifications, and support reviews from SRR to CDR.

You will use MATLAB or Python for radar performance studies, collaborate across RF, hardware, and software engineers, and help plan lab and field tests to verify requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain SAP access.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience in Radar Air-to-Ground applications and radar fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with radar system requirements analysis and documentation.
• Develop and maintain system/subsystem specifications and ICDs.
• Perform radar analyses using MATLAB or Python.
• Support SRR, PDR, and CDR through analysis and reports.
• Plan and execute lab and field tests of radar systems.
• Collaborate with RF, hardware, software, and other engineers.
