Job summary

Leidos' Defense Sensor Research and Analysis Division at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong Java and C++ skills to support DoD programs requiring a Secret clearance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in STEM with required years of software experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and C++.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes and containerization concepts.
• Must reside in North Alabama/Huntsville area or be willing to relocate.
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead developer for a new radar model and its integration into the radar planner framework.
• Collaborate with radar engineers to define functional requirements and ensure DevSecOps practices.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
