Job summary

SRC, Inc is seeking an Engineering Technician Intern to work onsite in Syracuse, NY, contributing to design, development, implementation and testing of radar and electronic warfare products. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an associate’s degree in electronics technologies or actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology.
• Minimum GPA of 3.3; unofficial transcripts acceptable.
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to conduct hands-on testing, debugging and assembly in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited production and prototyping activities such as cable fabrication and system assembly.
• Identify and set up test equipment and perform testing and troubleshooting of products.
• Hands-on work in an electronic lab with soldering and assembly of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic warfare, radar and communications systems using RF test equipment.
• Set up test fixtures and execute functional and environmental tests to evaluate performance.
