Job summary

Raytheon’s Radar Sensor Systems (RSS) team in Plano, TX seeks a Reliability & Data Engineer to support sustainment, performance analysis, and long-term reliability of advanced radar systems. You will analyze system performance data, identify reliability trends, support investigations, and develop data-driven insights in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams.

This is an onsite role requiring a TS clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large datasets using Excel, including complex filtering, data matching, and trend analysis.
  • Programming languages and tools such as Python, SQL development (Microsoft SQL, My SQL, SQL Lite), and Tableau.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued DoD Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Support the program in the Failure Reporting And Corrective Action (FRACAS) process
  • Help define failure modes and their effects on systems
  • Collaborate with hardware/software design teams to identify and resolve non-conformances
  • Perform data analysis on large, complex data sets, generating actionable reports and recommendations
  • Analyze system logs to determine cause for system downtime
  • Utilize experience with various databases for data input, report generation and data management
  • Automate processes to enhance efficiency and scalability in handling large datasets
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate findings and address technical challenges
  • Facilitate effective analysis of data and detection of failure patterns
  • Interface with stakeholders on issues observed in the fleet for system stability or performance improvements
  • Present information to internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Work in a SCIF environment
